I just don't understand why they didn't have whitetail deer if they're supposed to be in PA. It is not those who can inflict the most, but those that can suffer the most who will conquer. About as gay as you can get in a Pennsylvania steel town.

This movie was fantastic. Now that's a real example of true grit... Good film. I just got done watching Heavens Gates for the second time in a week. Its a wonderful movie. You're just too good to be true.

Its weird. This scene comes up in my head from time to time for no reason lol. This is one of the most powerful films ever made... RIP Michael for the Deer Hunter, one of the greatest movies of all time. What was end of the movie. Man this is one strong movie. It sounds like you're about to fall asleep, but great vid anyways. I enjoy the mood of this but ultimately, the lack of a plot sort of bothered me. He must have been on the brink from the start of the film because that was a quick descent into violence. Just kill them to make a point? I mean, yeah, at least because of Iris' youth.
